She is survived by : her children, Sharon Arndt-Nelson Jeff Nelson of Cherokee, IA, John Arndt of Sioux Falls, SD and Sandra Meylor Bob of Sioux Falls, SD; and her grandchildren, Zachary Nelson, Joy Blacketer, Christian Arndt, Mitchell Meylor, Edward Meylor and Reilly Meylor.

Jeannette Arndt was born in Berlin and graduated from drama school at the Konrad Wolf Film Academy in Potsdam-Babelsberg.

She later attended business school.

She also enjoyed bowling, aerobics, and spending time with the afternoon coffee groups.
